As we approach the end of 2009 and beginning of 2010, everyone from the kid next door to your hairdresser has plans for the new year. In my mind, setting targets and making plans - always a breeze, implementation and maintaining set goals - that's the difficult part.
One of my favorite sections in the Guardian is The Columnist. Various Nigerians submit their opinions on current issues in our nation. This morning while I was updating myself on world affairs, I came across this piece Why Budgets Fail in Nigeria. Also, Mr. Ovation himself (Dele Momodu) was quite hilarious and made some salient points in his article A Nation on Auto Pilot on Thisday Newspaper. Interesting articles.
In other news, what are your goals for 2010? Looking back on 2009 I believe I accomplished most of my set targets (thank God). My slogan for 2010 - Faith that moves mountains! ...be still and know that I am God. No more worrying or obsessing about the future, let Gods will be done :)
