It's been 'a minute'..

I've been MIA for a bit. A lot going on right now, new beginnings. Quick update:

• Finished NYSC...got my discharge certificate. YAY!! was such a good feeling
• Started a new job, its been ok so far (I kinda miss the 4-day work weeks though)

The only difference with having the NYSC certificate and being a corper is - no more CD days and of course better salary :) Other than that, everything else is pretty much the same. You do the same type of work, the work load slightly increases though as you have an extra day in the week to work.

New job's going good so far. Colleagues are cool, boss' ok. Three weeks in and more laughs than complaints. Thank God!! :)

Anticipating next month. Taking a short vacation. Sadly it isn't Maldives *sigh* but this is equally as great, 'cause I get to see two of my favorite people in the world!!!

In other news, living in Nigeria I've come to realize I get frustrated at least twice a week. Mainly stems from contact with other Nigerians. People here can be sooo impatient and rude! ..and they aren't changing anytime soon.

How do I learn to deal with frustrations from the smallest things like impatient drivers, bad customer service, e.t.c... it's amazing how the littlest things can be the most annoying. Could it be I'm becoming more like them? ...equally as edgy? hmm...

Yeah, I know Happy New Year isn't appropirate right now (seeing as we are approaching February), but I couldn't help saying it.

Been MIA lately, soo much going on. I'm rounding up NYSC in ~ 2weeks (YAY!!!). Thank God for seeing me through this past year. Not sure exactly what's next, it's all in HIS hands.
Right now I'm just enjoying 2010 as it comes my way.

Hope everyone out there is loving the new year. We prolly all have new year resolutions/goals. I don't do 'resolutions' anymore, I just set goals for myself for the year.

Have to run now, it's my last day at work as a corper (woop! woop!). I'll be back soon with details from clearance during NYSC and ...office drama!
